Villa di nuova costruzione con piscina e trullo, contrada San Benedetto, Ostuni

The property is located in the countryside of Ostuni, just 4 km from the town centre, in the Contrada San Benedetto area. The plot of land on which the property stands covers approximately 3,000 square metres and is surrounded by olive trees, almond trees, fruit trees and Mediterranean scrub. Inside the property, there is a double-cone trullo, one large one housing the bedroom (suite) and a small one housing the suite’s bathroom. The trullo has been conservatively restored using all the appropriate techniques and materials used to refine the construction of trulli, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A few dozen metres away is the villa, built in the style of an old farmhouse, maintaining the architecture and style with which these buildings were constructed in the years when they first appeared in this area, but making it more efficient according to current energy efficiency techniques. The villa consists of two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a comfortable living room that can accommodate two additional beds, a kitchen, a covered veranda with an outdoor kitchen, a porch, a bathroom and an outdoor laundry room, a 40 m² swimming pool with a solarium, and a terrace with a panoramic view of the valley. The structure was built using tuff blocks extracted from calcarenite quarries, worked and assembled with natural materials such as lime. All the finishing materials are of high quality, with stone flooring in different formats and taps.
